- Resume (Rirekisho)
- The universally standard Japanese timeline-based biographical document required for virtually all job applications in Japan. Its rigid, tabular format contrasts sharply with flexible Western "CV" designs.
- Work History Document (Shokumu Keirekisho)
- An accompanying document detailing your specific duties, projects, and achievements. While the Rirekisho confirms your basic timeline, the Shokumu Keirekisho highlights your actual career skills to recruiters.
- JIS Standard Format
- The standard Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS) layout. This is the most widely accepted rirekisho format in Japan unless the employer provides their own template.
- Motivation / Self-PR (Shibou Douki)
