Frequently Asked Questions About Name Fortune

Q.Can I also check pen names or stage names?
Yes, this tool supports pen names, stage names, and business names. It is commonly used to check the fortune of a name you use professionally, not just your legal name.
Q.Which of the five kaku is the most important?
It depends on the school of thought, but generally Jinkaku (the combination of the last kanji of the surname and the first kanji of the given name) is considered the most important. Soukaku (total strokes) is also highly regarded as it represents overall destiny.
Q.Any tips for naming when the surname has many strokes?
If the surname has a high stroke count, it is recommended to choose a given name with fewer strokes to balance the overall count, or to find a combination where the Soukaku lands on a lucky number.
Q.What if old and modern kanji have different stroke counts?
This tool uses modern kanji stroke counts by default. Depending on the divination school, old kanji stroke counts may sometimes be used.
Q.Is there scientific proof?
Name fortune-telling is a traditional form of divination and has no scientific basis. Use it only as a reference.
Q.Is my data sent to a server?
No. All calculations are securely processed entirely within your browser.
Q.Does it support single-character names?
Yes. It calculates accurately even if the first or last name consists of only one character.
