FAQ
- Q.Why does temperature conversion use a different formula?
- Temperature scales have offset starting points, so they cannot be converted with simple multiplication alone. Example: °C → °F uses (°C × 9/5) + 32. This tool implements all temperature formulas correctly.
- Q.Are Japanese traditional units included?
- Yes. Length: shaku, ken, jo, ri. Area: tsubo, tatami, tan, cho. Weight: monme, kin, kan.
- Q.Is my data sent to a server?
- No. All calculations are performed in your browser using JavaScript.
- Q.What cooking units are supported?
- Teaspoon (tsp), tablespoon (tbsp), cup, pint, quart, gallons, and fluid ounce (fl oz) are all included in the Volume category.
