This tool is a free browser-based typing practice system themed like an 8-bit retro RPG game.
It consists of 10 intense stages. As you progress, your max HP (allowable typos) gradually decreases! The final Stage 10 features a brutal "1 typo = game over" requirement.
Utilizing a comprehensive "Save Data" system, you can rest between stages and continue your run later.
How to Use
Select Input Mode
Choose "Keyboard" for physical keyboards or PC logic. Use "Mobile" for mobile soft keyboards. Then press NEW GAME.
Typing Battle
Type the phrases exactly as they appear to slay monsters. Complete 10 questions per stage. Save to resume later.
Final Evaluation
Clear all 10 stages and you'll be granted a rank / class among 5 tiers based on your overall WPM speed and remaining lives.
Glossary
- WPM (Words Per Minute)
- An indicator of how many words you can type in one minute. Calculated continuously as 5 characters per word. Higher means faster typing.
- KPM (Keys Per Minute)
- Measurement representing how many individual keys were typed. Generally used on mobile/soft-keyboard scoring systems here.
- Accuracy
- The percentage of correctly typed keys compared to the total number of keystrokes. You want to aim for 100%.
- Full Screen Mode
- Expands the UI to fit your monitor. To avoid soft-keyboard scaling bugs, it is disabled for mobile devices.

- Everything is strictly locally stored inside your specific browser environment using localStorage. If you switch devices, you must start a new game.
- Q.Can it be used on smartphones without physical keyboards?
- Yes! You can choose the "Mobile Keyboard" mode from the start menu to use your native phone soft-keyboard.
- Q.What are the 5 rank classifications?
- Depending on your final score, you can become a "Legendary Hero", "Veteran Warrior", "Adept Mage", "Novice Adventurer", or just a "Villager".
