Tier List Glossary

Tier List
A list that ranks characters, items, services, etc., by strength or preference into different tiers. Originally popularized in the competitive gaming community, it is now used across a wide range of genres.
S-Tier
The highest rank in a tier list, indicating the best or most preferred items. Ranks generally go down alphabetically as S, A, B, C..., with "SS" or "God" sometimes used above S.
Drag & Drop
An intuitive control method where you click and hold (or touch and hold) an image or item to move it, then release it at the target location. This tool heavily relies on it to move images between ranks.
Watermark
A logo or text of the service name forcibly added to images created with free tools. The biggest feature of this tool is that it adds NO watermark, allowing you to save great-looking, clean images.
Local Processing
A system where data is not sent to an internet server, but rather processed entirely within the user's smartphone or PC. This tool uses this method, providing excellent privacy protection.
SortableJS
A JavaScript library used to implement smooth drag & drop functionality in the browser. It powers the smooth movement animations of images in this tool.
PNG Format
An image file format that uses lossless compression. It is ideal for saving images with clear boundaries, like screenshots and illustrations, without quality degradation, which is why it is used as the export format for tier lists.
