Glossary
- Watermark
- A text or logo superimposed over an image to show copyright or origin. Effective for visual theft prevention.
- Opacity
- A setting controlling the visibility of the watermark from 0 to 100%. Lower values make it more transparent.
- Tile Mode
- Drawing the watermark repeatedly in a grid pattern. Covers the whole image to highly deter theft.
- Copyright
- The exclusive legal right of the creator. Usually marked with the © symbol like "© Year Name".
- Creative Commons
- A licensing framework offering standard permissions for image sharing.
- Canvas API
- A standard web API used to render and mix graphics directly inside your browser.
FAQ
- Q.Can someone remove the watermark later?
- Technically possible using AI, but combining tile mode and proper opacity makes removal extremely difficult and time-consuming.
- Q.What is the best logo format and size?
- A transparent PNG is highly recommended. The tool automatically scales it, but starting with a logo around 10-20% of the image width yields the best visual results.
- Q.Is there a limit to batch processing?
- To ensure browser stability, you can securely process up to 20 images at once. Extra large images (20MB+) may take a few seconds to process locally.
- Q.Will the original image quality decrease?
- If you select 'Original' format and set quality to 100%, degradation is minimal. Alternatively, exporting to PNG provides lossless output.
- Q.Are my images sent to your server?
- No. All canvas rendering and watermarking processes are handled locally on your device within your browser. No files are ever uploaded.
