About Bazi Calculator

This tool is a perpetual calendar that precisely calculates the Bazi (Four Pillars of Destiny) chart. From the birth date and time, it determines the Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches of the Year, Month, Day, and Hour pillars, deriving the balance of the Five Elements and the 10-year Luck Cycles.

Like authentic life analysis software, it supports 'True Solar Time correction' using specified longitude and 'Zi Hour determination (Early Rat / Late Rat)' to strictly process the date boundary at midnight. Additionally, all celestial calculations are completed within the browser, ensuring that entered birth dates and location information are never sent to external servers, making it safe to use.

How to use

STEP 1

Enter Birth Data

Enter the birth date, time, and gender. If the time is unknown, check 'Time Unknown'. For the birth place, search and select the city name in Romaji, or directly enter the latitude and longitude found on Google Maps etc.

STEP 2

Select School/Settings

Usually, the default settings are fine. If you follow a specific school of Bazi, select ON/OFF for 'True Solar Time correction' and whether to use 'Late Rat' (23:00-23:59 as the current day) or 'Early Rat' (23:00-23:59 as the next day).

STEP 3

Create and Save Chart

Click the 'Create Chart' button to display the calculation results. Check the Elements balance graph and Luck Cycles, and if necessary, download the results using the 'Save as Image' button.

FAQ

Q.What if I don't know my birth time?
Check 'Time Unknown'. The chart will be calculated as three pillars without the hour.
Q.What is True Solar Time?
It adjusts standard time based on your longitude and the Equation of Time. It is the standard for Bazi.
Q.What are Late/Early Rat hours?
A dispute over the Zi hour (11PM-1AM). Late Rat means 11PM-12AM keeps today's day pillar. Early Rat advances it.
Q.Is my data saved?
No. All calculations are done locally in your browser.
Q.What is Void (Kong Wang)?
It signifies a blank space or spiritual focus in a certain pillar.
