Furthermore, it has built-in support for various international grading scales including the standard US 4.0 scale, Germany's 1-6 scale, and France's 20-point scale. You can switch between them with a simple dropdown menu, or use the customization feature to define your school's unique grading criteria.

Noten-Glossar
- GPA (Grade Point Average)
- A numerical expression of a student's academic performance. In the US, it typically scales up to 4.0. It is a widely used metric for university admissions, job applications, and scholarships globally.
- Weighted Average
- An average where each data point is assigned a "weight". In grade calculation, the "credits" of each course serve as the weight. Courses with more credits have a greater impact on the final GPA.
- Grading Scale
- The system used to convert a test score (e.g., out of 100) into a grade (e.g., A, B, C or 4.0, 3.0, 2.0). These scales vary significantly by country and university. For example, Germany uses a scale where 1.0 is the highest mark.
- Credits / Credit Hours
- A value representing the required study time or importance of a course. A course that meets more frequently usually grants more credits. When calculating GPA, the grade point is multiplied by the credits, making it a crucial factor.
- Target Grade Calculation
- A reverse-calculation method used to find out what score you need on your remaining exams to achieve a desired final grade, based on your current grades and their weight in the syllabus.
Häufig gestellte Fragen (FAQ)
- Q.Werden meine eingegebenen Noten an einen Server gesendet?
- Nein.
