This is an image splitting tool that allows you to create "grid posts (puzzle posts)" that make your Instagram profile screen look like one large picture.
Fully supported by the standard square (1:1) as well as the latest portrait displays (3:4 and 4:5). You can automatically crop images according to the shape you want to create, such as 3×3 (9 divisions) or 3×2 (6 divisions), while viewing the preview.
Since the processing is completed within your browser (on your device), the loaded image is not sent to the server, allowing you to split it safely and quickly.
Hoe te gebruiken
Select image
Drag and drop the large image you want to split (up to 25MB).
Select number of divisions and ratio
Select the number of grids such as "3x3" and the aspect ratio per image (3:4 recommended).
Save in bulk as ZIP
Check the preview and perform the split. Save a ZIP file numbered in the order of posting.

- For grid posts, images must be loaded starting from the bottom-right corner. Posting in reverse order ensures the final image appears correctly on the profile.

- Cover Fit
- A scaling method where the image fills the target dimensions completely, cropping any overflow. Used when full-bleed image display is desired.

- Q.What happens if I post images in the wrong order?
- The image will appear misaligned on the profile grid. Always post in numerical order (starting from 01). Each file is numbered in its filename.
- Q.Can I split landscape images?
- Yes. Images are automatically Cover-Fit to the grid size. However, extremely wide images may have significant top/bottom cropping — ensure your subject is centered.
- Q.Should I choose 3:4 or 1:1?
- Since 2025, Instagram defaults to 3:4 (1080×1440px) display. We recommend 3:4 to match the latest profile layout.
- Q.Can I change the split count after selecting?
- Yes. You can freely switch between grid patterns (3×3, 3×2, etc.) and aspect ratios while keeping the loaded image. The preview updates instantly.
- Q.What's inside the ZIP file?
- Individual JPEG images named "instagram_grid_01.jpg" through "instagram_grid_09.jpg" in posting order, packaged in a folder.
- Q.Can this be used for TikTok or X (Twitter) grids?
- Yes. It's usable with any platform that features grid-based profile layouts. Adjust size settings to match each platform's specifications.
