About the Website Cost Estimator
This is a free online tool that allows you to instantly simulate the estimated cost of creating a new website or redesigning an existing one. By simply selecting the site type, number of pages, design quality, and CMS (e.g., WordPress) requirements, it automatically calculates the typical price range (minimum to maximum) in the market.
You can use it to grasp the budget before requesting a quote from a production company, or as a reference material for internal approval. All calculations are securely performed within your browser, and no personal information is required. The results are displayed with breakdowns and can be saved as a PDF for printing.

Glossary
- CMS (Content Management System)
- A system that allows you to update text and images from a management screen without specialized website knowledge. "WordPress" is a common example.
- Direction / PM Cost
- The cost of a director's time for project management, requirements definition, sitemap creation, and wireframing (screen design) to ensure smooth production.
- Responsive Design
- A web design approach where the layout automatically optimizes for different screen sizes, such as PCs, tablets, and smartphones. This is standard in modern web production.
- Coding / Front-end Development
- The process of programming the design data created by a designer using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript so that it can be displayed in a browser.
- Maintenance / Running Cost
- Ongoing costs incurred after the site is launched. In addition to domain and server maintenance fees, this includes CMS security updates and regular backups.
FAQ
- Q.Can I definitely place an order at the price calculated in the simulation?
- No. The amount calculated by this tool is only a "rough estimate based on general market rates". Actual costs will vary significantly depending on design difficulty, feature complexity, and the specific pricing structure of the development company. Please contact a web agency directly for an accurate quote.
- Q.Are there any tips to keep the costs down?
- You can significantly reduce initial costs by utilizing templates or existing themes (avoiding full-order designs), preparing text manuscripts and photos in-house, and publishing with a minimal number of pages at first (starting small).
- Q.Can I use the results as a reference for internal meetings?
- Yes, no problem. Please use the "Save as PDF" feature on the results screen to create a document, and use it as a reference for internal approval or budget planning.
- Q.Is the calculation data sent to a server?
- No. All selected conditions and cost calculations are processed entirely within your browser. No data is ever sent to or stored on an external server.
- Q.Can I use this tool on a smartphone?
- Yes, the tool is fully responsive and can be comfortably used from smartphones and tablets.
