about,

About Mic Tester

This tool is a free online application that allows you to visually check the volume level (decibels) of microphones connected to your PC or smartphone, and perform short recording and playback tests right in your browser.

Before joining web conferences (such as Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams) or voice calls, you can easily verify whether your microphone is properly recognized and if your voice will reach others at an appropriate volume.

All audio data is processed locally within your browser. It is never sent to or stored on any external servers, making it highly secure and ready to use without any installation.

how to use,

How to Use Mic Tester

Allow Microphone

Click the "Allow Microphone" button, and your browser will prompt you for microphone access. Please select "Allow".

STEP 2

Check Volume Level

STEP 3

Recording and Playback

Click the "Start Recording" button, speak for a few seconds, then stop. Afterwards, click "Play" to ensure your voice can be heard clearly without noise.

Audio Level Meter
A UI element that displays the magnitude of the input audio signal in real-time using bars or waveforms. It allows you to intuitively confirm that your microphone is functioning correctly.
Local Processing
A mechanism where recorded audio data is processed solely within your device (in the browser's memory) without being transmitted to external servers over the internet. This ensures complete privacy protection.
WebRTC / getUserMedia API
Standard web technologies for capturing media streams from cameras and microphones in the browser. They enable advanced microphone testing without requiring any dedicated app installations.

Yes, you can. By accessing the site from your iPhone (Safari) or Android (Chrome) browser and allowing microphone access, you can check the meter and perform recording tests just like on a PC.
